To put it another way, computer vision is the study of different approaches that can be utilized to enhance a computer’s capacity to perceive and comprehend digital images, such as still photographs and moving videos. Computer vision and machine intelligence (also known as machine vision) paradigms are constantly being promoted and developed in medical imaging applications such as computer-aided diagnosis, image-guided radiation therapy, landmark detection, imaging genomics, and brain connectomics, or even unlocking a smartphone, for instance, can be accomplished through the use of facial recognition technology.

In the process of object detection, pixels are taken from an image and then processed by an algorithm that uses either machine learning or deep learning to identify components contained within the image. Computer vision is able to do a better job of making sense of what it sees thanks to the application of techniques such as deep learning and neural networks. Nevertheless, computer vision is superior to human vision in many applications, such as pattern recognition.
